This policy says what you can't do with FormThunder. It exists because a form backend sends email from public web pages, and misuse hurts everyone who shares that sending reputation. If you break these rules, we may pause the form or suspend the account, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.
You can't use FormThunder to
- Collect passwords, card numbers or login details by pretending to be someone else. Phishing leads to immediate suspension.
- Send spam, or use a form or autoresponder to send mail to people who didn't ask for it.
- Collect payment card data in form fields, or government ID numbers, health records and similar sensitive data, unless you have the right legal basis and safeguards for it.
- Distribute malware, or files you don't have the right to share.
- Break the law, harass people, or collect data on children without the consent the law requires.
- Get around plan limits, rate limits or spam checks, or try to break into the service or other people's accounts.
- Run load tests against the service without asking first.
Autoresponders
An autoresponder sends mail to an address a visitor typed, so it needs extra care. Keep autoresponses to confirming what the person just did. They aren't a place for marketing.
AI agents
The rules apply to anything acting with your key. If your agent does it, you did it.
