A worked example

These numbers are made up to show how the sums work. Say you look after 12 client sites. Nine need a simple contact form, and stay free. Three want webhooks and branded templates, so you upgrade them and charge a care plan.

Set up a client in one prompt, or one API call

The per-client setup is what makes small retainers stop paying. So hand it to your AI: it creates the client, then works inside that account, from the form to the branding to the test.

That returns a checkout link for your client. Nothing is charged until they complete it.

Questions

How many client accounts can I create?

As many as you need. They're free and unlimited on the Agency plan. A client on the free tier gets the Free plan's limits, including 250 submissions a month.

Do my clients see FormThunder's name?

The Powered by line in notification emails is removed on Agency and client accounts. If you invite a client to their dashboard, they'll see FormThunder's interface there.

Whose Stripe account do clients pay?

Yours. You connect it with Stripe Connect, then set a retainer on a client, and they pay through a checkout link. Pricing, refunds and tax for those charges are yours to handle.

What happens when I upgrade a client?

They get Pro's features and limits, and $5 a month is added to your agency subscription. Downgrading moves them back to Free and removes the charge.

Can my AI work across clients?

Yes. With an agency key, every MCP tool accepts an account_id, so the agent can list your clients and work inside any of them. The REST API uses an X-FormThunder-Account header for the same thing.

Can a client leave and keep their forms?

Invite them as an owner of their account, and they have their own access. Talk to us if you want an account moved out from under your agency.
