These terms are the agreement between you and us, the operator of FormThunder, for using the service. By creating an account or sending a form submission through FormThunder, you accept them. If you're using it for a company or a client, you're confirming that you can accept them for that company or client.
The service
FormThunder receives form submissions, stores them and delivers them by email, webhook or chat, as you configure. It includes a dashboard, a REST API, a CLI and an MCP server.
Your account
Keep your API keys and password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and that includes what an AI agent or a teammate does with a key you gave them. A form's access key is public by design, and API keys starting with ft_live_ are secret.
Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. We can suspend a form or an account that breaks it.
Your data
Your forms' submissions belong to you or your customers. You give us permission to process them to run the service. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect what your forms collect, and for telling your visitors about it. Our privacy policy and data processing addendum say how we handle it.
Plans, billing and upgrades
Plan prices and limits are on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew until cancelled. If you pass your monthly submission limit, we store new submissions and hold their delivery until your account upgrades.
If you use agency client upgrades, each upgrade adds its monthly charge to your subscription.
Agency accounts and client billing
If you charge your clients through your own Stripe account using FormThunder, the charge is between you and your client. You're responsible for your own pricing, invoices, taxes, refunds and disputes, and for following Stripe's terms.
Availability
We build for reliability, as our reliability page describes, but we don't promise the service will never fail. We don't offer an uptime guarantee or service credits. Don't rely on FormThunder as the only copy of information you can't afford to lose.
Changes
We may change the service or these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the change.
Ending
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account for breaking these terms, or for not paying. After closure, we delete your data as the privacy policy describes.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost leads or profits. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit.
