Send contact form submissions to a Slack channel, with retries
FormThunder posts each form submission to Slack through an incoming webhook URL you create in your Slack workspace. The message names the form and lists every field. If Slack is unreachable, the post retries with backoff for up to 24 hours. Slack delivery is part of the Pro plan.

Set it up
- In Slack, create an app, turn on Incoming Webhooks and add a webhook to the channel you want. Copy the URL.
- Paste it into the form's Integrations settings in the dashboard, or ask your AI to set it.
- Run a test. The test submission goes through Slack like a real one.

- The whole
integrationsobject is sent at once, so read the form first if it already has a webhook or Discord set. Your AI'sget_formthenupdate_formdoes this for you. - The field list is cut at about 1,800 characters in the Slack message. The full submission stays in the dashboard and in the email.
- A webhook URL posts to exactly one channel. For a second channel, create a second URL and send it through Zapier, Make or n8n.

Does Slack replace the email?
No. Email and Slack are separate deliveries, each with its own status and retries. You can see both on the submission.
What if someone deletes the Slack webhook?
Slack starts returning errors, the delivery retries and then shows as failed with the last error. Set a new URL and resend it.
